Pianist & Composer Lee Tomboulian returns to Project 142 in a solo & group setting, performing pieces by Beethoven, Zappa, Ralph Towner, EST & Tomboulian, in preparation for the recording of his follow-up to Lee’s first solo piano recording IMAGINARIUM (which received rave support from All About Jazz & other publications across the United States). Consisting mostly of standards & three original compositions, IMAGINARIUM spans 1927 – 2012, from Sweet Lorraine to Bohemian Rhapsody In Blue, a mash-up of two well-loved pieces by the great songwriting team (Gershwin & Mercury).
Lee is working on a follow-up recording to IMAGINARIUM tentatively titled REALITARIUM.
