Ensemble – Blake Whyte (Voice) – Alex Hills (Keyboards) – Alex Wyatt (Percussion) – Tyler Gilmore (Live Electronics Editing)& Max Duykers (Guest Composer).\nThe Curtis Stewart Ensemble explores a space between era & style\, creating dialogue between Western European\, BeBop\, Post Bop\, Hip Hop & Contemporary Classical music.  Curtis has been hailed by STRAD\, Jazz Times & DownBeat magazines holding his audiences “spellbound” with his “warm clear sound….sparkling rhythmic energy”\, “soulful improvisation” & “prodigious technique”.  The aim of this project is to find the violin’s place not only in Classical music & Jazz\, but as an instrumental “voice” in music from around the world & through time.
