Sohyun Ahn has performed in Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Iceland, Japan, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, South Korea & the United States. Sohyun was named Performer Of The Year by Eumak-Chunchu (South Korea’s leading classical music journal). Education – Bachelor’s degree from Yonsei University, Masters degree with distinction from the Royal Scottish Academy in Music & Drama & Tokyo National University in Music & Arts, a Professional Studies Degree from the Manhattan School of Music. Sohyun received her Doctoral of Musical Arts Degree from Rutgers University (under the tutelage of Daniel Epstein). Numerous awards & competitions internationally received as well. Sohyun currently serves on the faculty at the Concordia College & Geneva Conservatory in New York.
