Steve has studied classical piano starting at age 4.  Beginning with a wonderful Austrian teacher named Mr. Siegel (“I never knew his first name”)\, Steve continued with Michael Rogers\, Ralph Affaumado & Sofia Rosoff.  Steve was deeply entrenched in the New York Latin music scene as a protege of Mario Rivera; Steve toured with Bebel Gilberto\, Ruben Blades & David Bryne (on the “Rei Momo” tour).  Steve has conducted / arranged on & off Broadway (“Chronicle of a Death Foretold”)\, arranged / musical directed for the New York Shakespeare Festival\, composer / musical director for Nickelodeon’s “Dora The Explorer” & “Go\, Diego\, Go!” which led Steve to three (3) Emmy Nominations.  Steve also studied raga singing with Michael Harrison & Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan\, & has performed electronic looping concerts at the Knitting Factory\, the Guggenheim Museum & Le Petit Versailles.\nIcing on this Concert – IT’S STEVE’S BIRTHDAY!\nConcert Charge – $20.00 at the door please\nDoors open @ 7:30p.\nRefreshments provided by Project 142            \n
