DESCRIPTION:Wednesday – September 2\, 2015 – 7:00p. – 9:00p. – The Concert Space at Beethoven Pianos – NYC – TOGETHER IN MUSIC SUMMER GALA CONCERT (Fundraiser for Opportunity Music Project) – 211 West 58th St. (between Broadway & 7th Ave.) – 10019.  Hosted by Opportunity Music Project – www.opportunitymusicproject.org & the Davis Projects for Peace – www.davisprojectsforpeace.org.\nTogether In Music is a summer chamber music program hosted by Opportunity Music Project that explores chamber music’s capacity to serve as a model & method of peacemaking.  Created through a grant from the Davis Projects for Peace\, Together In Music offers elementary through high school aged music students in New York City the opportunity to learn & work together in small chamber groups\, while developing their leadership abilities & nurturing a passion for using music as a form of positive dialogue.  This concert\, celebrates the program’s first year\, showcases the work of students & faculty participants\, & hopes to engage the public in an exploration of the power of the arts in creating peace.  \nDoors open at 6:30p.\n$10.00 Concert Donation at the door\nRefreshments provided by Project 142  \n** THIS IS A FUNDRAISER EVENT –\nALL additional Donations warmly accepted / appreciated\nto bolster our future programs & infuse our Music Project!     \n
